A few years ago, I set out on a project that’s finally nearing completion. I began by scanning Batman comics published between 1939 and 1989, carefully pulling out every distinct Batmobile I could find. From there, I matched each one with a real-world car that existed during the same era—and then painted that vehicle as the Batmobile.
But I didn’t stop there. I also explored Batman-adjacent rides, from the Joker’s over-the-top “Jokermobiles” to Catwoman’s sleek “Catillac,” as well as the legendary Batmobiles from television and film.
The result is more than just a collection of cars—it’s a deep dive into 50 years of design, history, and pop culture, packed with trivia, research, and most importantly, my original artwork.
