ELIMINATOR
The Coupe owned by ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons was a regular on MTV in the early 1980s and has since become a legend in both the music and the hot rod worlds. It was built by Dan Thelan’s Buffalo Motor Cars from a 1933 Ford.It was chopped, scooped & lowered and fitted with a simple but reliable Chevy 350 V-8 engine.
Tom Hunnicutt’s painting of the car became the cover of the band’s 1984 album, Eliminator. The car also became the star of a series of music videos from the album.
Painted using ink and acrylics, the art is on heavy Bristol board and will make a great addition to any space.
